SCHOLARS CLUB

Research, however valuable, is worth little unless shared, peer reviewed, tested and publicly discussed.

Central to this process is communication and a forum to express opinion, argue cases and test theories and facts against the best minds and facts available.

The UKALAA Scholars' club is such a forum, both physical and virtual, and arises from the understanding that Muslim scholars and scientists in the world today are neither adequately networked nor connected with each other. Consequently, they do not know each other, they do not collaborate in research and in the education of their students. As a result they do not produce a coherent discourse on important issues.

The Scholars' Club aims to fill this gap by creating an organization and a platform to rectify this situation by periodically bringing scholars from different fields and meetings and award them for excellence in research and publication by setting an annual award in each backgrounds together in annual and bi-annual field.

The Foundation will sponsor research projects for selected scholars in the areas of social, Islamic and natural sciences (RND) and publish the results of their research as books, reports and journals.

To ease the practical challenges of research, travel for research collaboration among scholars and academic meetings may be eligible for funding.
