The most contentious areas in any society are those of governance and justice. What is just in one society is not in another; a system of government that is effective in on society simply does not work in another.

Our research will include the reasons as to why this situation obtains; whether there is a universal system of justice that could apply to all; what exactly are human rights and what are the responsibilities that come with those rights; what is the origin of those rights and is the source universally agreed on and other related areas of debate.
