ABOUT
The UKALAA Foundation was established to research and examine holistically the multiple environments - physical and abstract - that humanity inhabits. The holistic approach was determined by the assumption that all aspects of our existence are connected to and are affected by each other in ways some of which we understand and some we do not. Thus to examine one aspect in isolation will yield a localised understanding of a social or physical structure, but not necessarily how it relates to others. By building a database with input from a very wide range of sources and giving free access to it to scholars, scientists and other interested parties, we hope to generate a synergy where one+one may equal three, that will yield new, unusual and perhaps effective approaches to improving the human condition.
VISION
To achieve a comprehensive referenced database of accurate researched material that forms a resource to develop both human recognition of and responsibility for the intellectual, ethical and physical environments that humankind inhabits.
MISSION
To pursue and access relevant recorded knowledge wherever it is located and collate it in a central database that will become a standard source for the use of scholars, legislators, scientists and any party that seeks to improve the human condition by drawing on the accumulated Islamic wisdom of the human race.
